Frontliners don’t just include medical practitioners during this Covid-19 outbreak and Movement Control Order (MCO). They also include cooks, restaurant workers, cleaners, cashiers and delivery riders.

Which is why, when we lose one of them during this tough time, it’s just so much more heart-breaking.

Malaysian actress, Eira Syazira took to her Instagram profile to highlight the death of her cousin, who was a delivery rider. Muhammad Fakrulrozi was only 21 when he died in an accident during a delivery.

Eira wrote, “A request to my brothers and sisters, please offer Al Fatihah to Muhammad Fakrul Rozi. He was on his way to deliver food to a customer’s house. #heroism #frontliner”

Food delivery riders who choose to work during this MCO are risking getting infected by the Covid-19 virus just so we can have food while we stay safely at home.

We wish nothing but the best and condolences to Eira’s family during this difficult time.

Thank you for your service, Muhammad Fakrulrozi.
