19 Premises Temporarily Closed After Covid-19 Case Appeared in Cameron Highlands
The Covid-19 virus is spreading wider than ever now that SOPs have been loosened and many are travelling interstate.
In fact, a list of outlets in Cameron Highlands have been temporarily closed for disinfection, as showcased by the We are Malaysians Facebook page.
They wrote, “Cluster Cameron Highlands? Make sure you do a Covid-19 swab test if you have visited these premises in Cameron Highlands.”
Some of the locations highlighted in the list include several eateries and tourist attractions such as the Smokehouse Hotel & Restaurant and the Green View Garden.
Many have since wondered if the closures have anything to do with the one new Covid-19 case that popped up in Cameron Highlands on 2 January, 2021.
Either way, it is best for those who have visited these locations to take precautions for the safety of themselves and their loved ones by doing a swab test.
Despite the fact that the authorities have loosened the SOPs by allowing interstate travel, we are no where close to flattening the current Covid-19 curve and should take initiative in practicing physical distancing and avoiding crowds during this time.
