An 18-year-old girl made a police report on 22 April after she was allegedly raped and sodomised by her father and three brothers multiple times throughout 2020 and 2021. All four men were arrested and are being investigated according to Section 376 B and Section 377 C of the Penal Code.

According to Berita Harian, the girl, whose mother had died, was said to have been drugged by the suspect, tied up and taped on her mouth before being raped.

The head of the state Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ), Assistant Commissioner Mohd Sukri Kaman said the incident allegedly took place in Tanjung Minyak, Melaka, where the victim claimed her brothers took turns to rape and sodomise her.

“The victim was also said to have been given a drink mixed with drugs by the suspect before being raped, while both her hands and feet were tied with raffia string to the corner of the bed and her mouth covered with duct tape,” he said.

“At night, the victim claimed to have been raped by her father and would be beaten if she resisted.”

Investigations found that this has been going on since February 2020 and lasted until February 2021. The suspects were accused of taking turns to commit the acts while under the influence of drugs.

Following the report, the four suspects and a woman, who is also the victim’s sister-in-law were arrested. The suspects were aged between 23 and 48.
