Prior to this, a 2-year-old toddler was believed to have been Malaysia’s youngest Covid-19 case. The toddler was scheduled to have undergone a chemotherapy treatment for leukemia at Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital, but the treatment had to be rescheduled as the toddler’s blood test revealed that he was positive with Covid-19.

We hope that the authorities will do all they can in their power to ensure the safety and well-being of the infant, and hope that the family will stay strong during this difficult time.Ā
