One of the best things in life is traveling. It’s not just about going to new places but also about the chance to discover the culture and food of the places.

US TikTok user @zakattackcalii, who had the luxury of traveling to 7 Asian countries in just 5 months, recently shared his take on his journey and arranged his favorite countries in order. Malaysia is ranked fourth on his list, and Singapore is last.

Let’s talk about his take on Singapore before we fly back to Malaysia.

“Nothing much in Singapore, very little culture”

According to the TikToker, Zak, there was nothing much for him to experience in Singapore. He could walk around and do a little sightseeing, but there wasn’t much cultural exposure for him.

To our Singaporean friends, you might be relieved to know that Zak thought the people in the country were nice. However, he could not forget his bad experience with the Marina Bay Sands employee.

“They were super rude. The waiters and waitresses were not kind at all, and I’m someone who likes to go to a country with a lot of culture,” Zak explained.

“Malaysia is underrated”

Zak then suggested that travellers worldwide consider Malaysia and dubbed the country “underrated,” saying that the places in KL are walkable and 10 times better than Singapore.

“I would say the city is more well put together than Thailand, but I do like how Thailand is just chaotic.”

Of course, are you traveling right if you don’t try the food in Malaysia? Zak also praised Malaysian food, saying the food and the people are nice, except for his encounter with a scammer, which wasn’t a big deal.

“The people are nice. I didn’t have any problem with anyone except with a scammer, but that generally happens everywhere.”

You can listen to his full explanation below about other countries that Zak has visited.
