I’m sure you’ve heard of The Sims at some point in your life, and whether you actually got around to playing it or not, you’ve at least been a tad bit interested in what this game is all about.

Well, The Sims is probably one of the most popular – and not to mention one of the best-selling – video games of all time, which allows you to have control over digital characters in a life simulation setting.

And if that description has sparked an interest in you, here’s some good news! The latest version of the game, The Sims 4, is now available to be downloaded for FREE, as announced on The Sims’ Twitter account on 22nd May.

However, this offer is only open until 28th May 2019 (Thursday), after which it will revert to the original retail price of $49.90 (RM209.15).

To get your hands on The Sims 4, you will need to visit Origin.com, where you will be prompted to create an EA (Electronic Arts) account. It will then lead you to install the publisher’s download platform, Origin, after which The Sims 4 will be ready for download!

This is such a great deal if you ask me!

First released for purchase in 2014, The Sims 4 allows players to customise each digital character (called Sims) by selecting their facial features, hair colour and even different outfits for different occasions. Players can then guide their Sim through various aspects of life such as physical and personal growth, academic and career choices, building friendships and relationships, and even starting a family of their own.

What’s more is that players can also build their own houses and decorate it according to their personal preferences as there are a variety of choices for them to choose from.

With players being given the power to manage every aspect of ‘life’ in The Sims 4, it’s no surprise that they instantly get hooked and sucked into this virtual world that probably depicts their very own dream life.

However, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of The Sims 4 are not included in the free offer.

Don’t forget you only have four days left to get The Sims 4 for FREE!

Remember:

1) Create EA Account

2) Install Origin

3) Download The Sims 4  for FREE
