It’s no secret that us Malaysians really love our local food. So much so, that even when we go overseas, we often times look for and try restaurants that serve Malaysian food just so we can compare it with what we have back home.

With that being said, how far out of your way would you be willing to go just to get a taste of your favourite Malaysian food?

The 吉隆坡蕉賴康樂夜市 (Taman Connaught Night Market) Facebook page recently shared photos of a woman walking around their night market while holding up an IV drip that’s still attached to her friend!

They wrote, “Pretty girl, even with an IV drips she came to Taman Connaught Night Market. Everyone give her a big thumbs up!”

In the images, the girl connected to one end of the IV drip could be seen walking around the night market and stopping at a dessert truck with her friend who was helping her hold up the IV bag filled with yellow liquids above her head.

Damn, that friend must really have powerful upper arm strength to be holding the IV bag for her friend like that.

While we love the girl’s semangat (spirit) to go out while in a sickly condition just to get some fresh air and food, we genuinely hope that she’s not causing herself more harm than good. After all, our health should come first.

What do you think about this? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
