Every now and then, everyone feels a little constipated. When faced with this issue, many often times try to fix it by eating certain foods or taking certain medicines in order to help relieve themselves.

But, what if your constipation doesn’t go away?

According to a post on Weibo, a 53-year-old woman in China had been constipated for more than 10 days, causing her have her poop, about 20kgs of it, surgically removed.

Poop 1

The woman, named Hua, was apparently used to suffering from constipation. But, it had allegedly become more severe in the past 4 to 5 years.

Recently, Hua had started feeling abdominal distension, tightness in her chest and breathlessness, after barely being able to defecate once every 5 to 6 days.

Poop 2

Considering the fact that she was very thin, her lower abdomen had started to obviously swell. Her family members could also feel the shape of hard stools around her belly, causing her to be sent to the hospital for treatment.

The doctors ultimately discovered that she has Hirschsprung’s disease, which is a birth defect in which nerve cells are missing in the large intestine, so a person’s intestine can’t move stool and becomes blocked.

Poop 3

Doctors then conducted an operation on Hua, where about 20kgs of poop, allegedly shaped like a python, was removed from her body.

You can check out the video of the incident here.

We have never felt more lucky to be able to poop in our lives.
