Discrimination, especially now, is highly intolerable. We have all come so far as a society because we are learning to accept and celebrate more cultures. We try to understand them, so we don’t do anything that can be considered discriminating. However, even though a majority of us respect another race, there are still few who refuse to accept another person just because they’re different. Just like this lady from Singapore.

What did she do?

Well, a Singaporean mother recently complained to the head of a tuition that she didn’t want her child to be taught by an Indian tutor, reported Nextshark. How racist?

The whole story was shared on Twitter by a girl whose sister is friends with the tutor.

According to her, it all began when the student, who is in lower secondary, took out a body spray and sprayed it all over the class in order to mask a scent, which the kid claimed to be body odour, of the Indian Tutor. Face-palming so hard right now!

The Twitter user confirmed that the tutor definitely doesn’t have any kind of body odour whatsoever. Thus, it can be said that the child’s action was purely based on an idea that could have been stemmed from their upbringing.

Then, the parents came to the tuition centre to address the problem, hoping that he would somehow try to understand their predicament since the head is also of the same race as them.

However, instead of listening and abiding by their ridiculous woes, the head of the 30-year-old tuition centre took a broomstick and proceeded to chase the parent out of the tuition centre. The head is the real OG!

It didn’t stop there either because he told them that he never wants to see them again in his centre. Dealing with racism like a boss!

Obviously, when something as outrageous as this happens, there is bound to be many feedback from the netizens. One user said a child is born not knowing race but parents are the ones who teach them the meaning of race. Wise words. Racism is taught.

Another Twitter user shared his experience on being rejected from teaching jobs in China because of his skin colour, indicating that racism is a global issue. Poor guy!

Some concluded that racism is just everywhere.

In a nutshell, it is sad to see this absurdity still happening in a modern world. On the bright side, it’s good to know that the head of this tuition centre is not part of that demographic who condones racism!
