The audacity of some people!

Yesterday (6th July), a video of an Indonesian woman, who turned out to be the wife of a police general, slapping an airport immigration officer went viral on Twitter, leaving many netizens outraged with her actions.

The woman reportedly slapped the officer when she was going through a mandatory security check at an airport in Manado before boarding a flight to Jakarta that morning.

Now, everybody should be aware that these security checks require us to remove any accessory that could possibly set off the metal detector, which makes this story even more ridiculous.

As the woman was going through the check, she set off the metal detector because she did not remove her watch.

Because of that, an immigration officer asked her to remove her watch so she could go through the detector again. This was when things took a turn for the worse.

The woman refused to remove her watch, visibly angered when she was instructed to remove it.

Then, out of nowhere, she suddenly slapped the officer in the face!

She can be heard yelling at the immigration officer who remained quiet, while the woman’s daughter tries to pull her away.

After she was slapped, the officer then yelled at the woman, “I can make a report against you, you know!”

The officer’s words did not seem to phase her, however. Since she’s the wife of a police general, she probably thought she was untouchable by the law.

It’s so upsetting to see such entitled people abuse others like this!
