Everyone deserves to feel safe, regardless of where they are. A Malaysian woman recently defended herself after she caught a man staring at her breasts publicly.

In her TikTok post @abnormina, Mina went straight to the point and said she recently slapped a man for staring at her breasts when she wanted to cross the road to KLCC. Mina, who was wearing a low-cut dress on the day, was sure about what the man was doing because of how close he was to her at the traffic light.

She was waiting for the pedestrian light to turn green but Mina could feel the man walking towards her while looking and her, and not crossing the road. Mina’s reflex action prompted her to slap the man and ask him,

“What the f*** are you looking at?!”

Mina was certain that the man was staring at her breasts, to which the man just said “No”. His friend did not do anything and just looked away.

“It was my reflex action because that was how close he came to me.”

Mina added that her reflex action was purely self-defense, and it was perhaps something that she could do to perverts in the future.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Mina, who was with her best friend during the incident shared what she felt immediately after she slapped the man.

“I felt nothing at first but I asked my friend if I really just slapped the man. She asked if I was okay and what did the man do because even my friend noticed how oddly close the man was to me.”

Mina also said, “I then chuckled with relief because I felt empowered in a way.”

As for her attire, Mina clarified that it’s 2024 and everyone should be allowed to dress in any way they see fit and comfortable.

“I usually don’t respond to men catcalling or ogling me but then I feel bad for not standing up to myself.”

Mina also told WORLD OF BUZZ that fortunately, the man did not retaliate or get physical at her.

“He didn’t do anything, luckily. I actually thought he was going to hit me back. I was keeping an eye.”
