Wow, like that also can?

A video posted on Facebook shows the mind-blowing moment a Perodua Myvi escaped paying for toll because it was small enough to squeeze through the gap beside the boom gate.

While we’ve previously seen many drivers in Malaysia attempt to escape toll fees by following the car in front closely, this Myvi driver has a new trick up his sleeve.

In the video that was recorded by another car’s dash cam, the Myvi is seen entering a Touch ‘n Go toll booth along the PLUS highway on 3rd November.

It brakes and probably was about to pay when it suddenly swerves to the left and squeezes out of the toll booth with no problem at all.

The driver must’ve noticed the large gap and decided to try his luck, and because that particular toll booth is the left-most booth, the gap must’ve been a little wider than the rest.

Many netizens were commenting that it was possible because the car was a Myvi while others mentioned that the blame should be put on the driver instead of how small the car is.

“I think from this, Myvi sales is going to jump 1000%… If they put this in their commercial add too,” one netizen said.

“This is not the fault of the Myvi, it’s the fault of the driver. If you can’t afford to pay toll, why don’t you use a bicycle instead? Everything will be free,” another netizen said.

I think the authorities should look into this as there are many cars as small as the Myvi that could pull off this stunt too. While paying for toll is annoying sometimes, it’s not right to cheat!
