With so many cases of sexual assault & harassment, there is definitely a need to educate those who are vulnerable to it, especially children.
A PJK teacher by the name of Effendy, better known as Cikgu Ferdy on social media platforms has gone viral for sharing a video of him teaching primary school students about what a good touch or bad touch is.
His video was viewed more than 2 million times and was shared more than 18,000 times!
In the 3-minute clip, you can see Cikgu Ferdy explaining what a good or a bad touch is to the children and making sure that they understand what they mean.
He starts off by asking what parts of the body are sensitive and tells the children that these parts cannot be touched. He continues to create a participatory atmosphere by asking the students what to do if a person touches them.
The young children, who were very amused by their teacher would say “cannot, cannot, cannot”. They were then more encouraged when the teacher asked them to clap for themselves for doing a good job.
Other than that, Cikgu Ferdy also told them that touching a person’s sensitive part can result in them being captured by the police.
It’s amazing to see how a teacher can educate children on topics such as these in only a small amount of time. Many netizens in the comments were praising the teacher.
