Wanted Local Man Shot Dead in Puchong as Residents Nearby Hear Gunfire

A man was shot dead in an incident in Puchong Prima yesterday (January 14), as a video has surfaced on social media of gunfire near an apartment building.

It turns out that the deceased man was a wanted individual who has gotten into quite some trouble with the law.

The MYNEWSHUB Twitter page recently shared the video of the incident, as well as images of the aftermath.

According to a report by Harian Metro, the Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan shared that the local man had 7 criminal records and 6 past narcotic offences.

The suspect had died after sustaining injuries in a gun fight in front of Apartment Sri Acasia, Taman Puchong Prima at 3:49pm yesterday (January 14).

“Further investigations are still being conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Subang Jaya District Police Headquarters (IPD).”

“The police have also noted a video recording related to this incident that has gone viral on social media, the public is advised not to spread the video in order to avoid a public disturbance,” he said.

 

Yesterday, residents around Jalan Puchong Prima 3 were in a panic after hearing a gun shot. In the video shared online, several men could be seen shouting followed by the sound of what appears to be a single gun shot.
