Viral Video Shows Motorcyclists Fighting in Tanjung Rambutan, PDRM Investigating Incident

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is currently tracking down several individuals that were seen fighting on the road in Tanjung Rambutan, Perak in a viral video recently.

According to a statement by Ipoh District Police ACP Yahaya Hassan today, the police conducted an investigation after detecting a 16-second video clip of the incident circulating on WhatsApp yesterday.

The video of the incident was also shared by the Ipoh District Police on its official Facebook page, which you can view here:

Initial investigation by PDRM found that 5 local men were involved in the incident which is believed to have taken place on Thursday (27 July) at about 5.30pm at Batu 8 Jalna Tanjung Rambutan-Tambun in Perak.

In the video, several men riding on motorcycles, with some of them wearing helmets can be seen fighting each other in the middle of the road.

A few of the individuals also used weapons, believed to be rattan canes during the fight. At the end of the video, one individual can be seen on the ground while others beat him up, with a motorcycle also seen falling on the road.

PDRM is currently investigating the case under Section 148 of the Penal Code, with the Ipoh District Police urging witnesses to come forward to provide information.
