Accidents happen every day on Malaysian roads, despite authorities constantly clamping down on vehicles that are less than safe to be driven on the road.

An incident in Bukit Ampang, caught the attention of netizens as the location in question is commonly known for its accidents. This time round, the incident is no different.

Caught on video, a trailer was seen crashing into a Kancil after its brakes apparently failed the vehicle.

In the video, the trailer can be seen rolling down hill, breaking the roadside curb and ultimately crashing into a victim’s vehicle.

As the video made its way on social media, locals living in the area commented that the area in question is an accident site for years.

“On average, those who live in Ampang are aware that the site in question is extremely susceptible to accidents.”

“In this incident the trailer had no time to apply brakes, just like many before it.”

Let’s hope that authorities will do something about this, probably adopt more speed bumps or maybe a run off point for vehicles that fail to apply sufficient braking to avoid an accident.
