Oh no, this is terrifying!

Many Malaysians, especially those who used the Puchong route, were mortified as they witnessed a famous furniture shop on fire, yesterday (7 November 2018).

If you didn’t know, anyone who is familiar with the Puchong vicinity, especially Bukit Puchong, must know the Avenue furniture shop because it has been the landmark of the place for a very long time.

According to the Assistant Director of Fire and Rescue Operations Division Mohd Rizal Buang, the fire department received an emergency call at around 10.26pm, yesterday. Following the call, machinery from Puchong’s Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), BBP Cyberjaya and BBP Serdang arrived at the spot about 10 minutes after the call.

In a statement, Mohd Rizal was quoted as saying,

“After arriving at the spot, we found out that 50 per cent of the shop, which is 15.24 x 6.1 metres long, was already burnt.”

As of yesterday, the assistant director shared that the fire was under control and the operation to put out the fire was still ongoing. However, there were no updates pertaining to the aforementioned operation today (8 November 2018).

The report further wrote that there aren’t any victims from the fire incident thus far and it also hasn’t revealed the reason behind the fire. Up to the present, there aren’t any new updates about the fire at Avenue @ Puchong but we hope that more news will ensue later this day. Keep your eyes peeled for more information about the matter.

This is a developing story. More to come.
