Do you guys remember the little oyen (orange cat) that was injured in the recent plane crash in Shah Alam? Well, we’re happy to say that the cat is doing better and is heading well towards a full recovery at the vet.

With that being said, many people, especially animal lovers; would obviously want to help however they can, including by giving donations for the cat’s treatment.

The vet taking care of the oyen, Zul Erwan Veterinary Clinic, took to their Instagram page to warn the general public against giving donations in the oyen’s name, as they have not called for any aid.

They wrote, “And one more thing, as a precautionary measure, the clinic did not open any donations in the oyen’s name. So, please be careful if there is any aid or donations opened in the oyen’s name.”

This comes after they shared that the cat was not up for adoption, as many have asked to give it a forever home.

“Thank you so much to everyone who cares about the oyen. For today, the oyen’s condition is good and stable. The oyen is also well-behaved when we are washing its wound.”

“The clinic has received many DMs and calls to adopt the oyen. We would like to inform you that the oyen is not up for adoption because it already has an owner, who is one of the KKM ambulance team members who brought it in (for medical assistance),” they explained.

It’s great to hear that the little cat is doing better and that there are many kindhearted people willing to give it a home.

While they have to be disappointed that it already has an owner, there are still many stray cats and cat in shelters who are looking for loving people to care for them.

So, if you’re one of those people, don’t forget to check out your local shelter today to find your forever fur buddy.

What do you think about this? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
