As part of Unilever Malaysia’s 75th anniversary celebration, the company unveils a commemorative logo – incorporating twenty-five colourful icons intricately woven together on the figure 75. These distinctive icons represent the unique aspects of the business and more importantly, Unilever’s purpose to make sustainable living commonplace. The logo is accompanied by a tagline in Bahasa Malaysia – ‘75 Tahun Bersama U’ which translates to 75 years with U, symbolising Unilever’s past and future commitment to continue helping Malaysians look good, feel good and get more out of life.

“As we celebrate this special milestone, it is truly gratifying to be surrounded by many of those who played such a significant role in Unilever Malaysia’s success. We want to express our sincerest appreciation to our employees, customers, retailers, business partners and the local communities, who have supported us over the years in our growth and ambition. As we look ahead to the next 75 years, we strive to build a purpose-led, future-fit organisation and growth culture,” said the newly appointed Head of Country, Unilever Malaysia, Lenny Chuah.

Since the opening of Unilever Malaysia’s doors over 70 years ago, the organisation always believed that responsible business is good business. For Unilever, serving those most impacted by COVID-19, women and families, particularly the underserved communities, remains their priority.

As a result, Unilever has contributed over RM5 million to help fight against the pandemic through donations of soap, sanitiser, and food.

In addition, the company also established partnerships and handwashing education programmes with various organizations and NGOs to support local communities most in need.

“Our efforts do not end here – purpose is at the heart of our business model. And, we pledge to do more good for our planet and our society. One of our biggest initiatives to date is co-founding the Malaysian Recycling Alliance (MAREA) together with nine other consumer goods companies. We recognised the importance of working together to drive a common goal of achieving circular economy solutions that are conducive to a cleaner and greener Malaysia, and a more sustainable, waste-reduced future,” added Chuah.

Among the many events taking place to celebrate this milestone, Unilever Malaysia relocates its new headquarters office to Bangsar South. The move has been years in the making and reaffirms Unilever’s continued growth going forward. The new workplace was designed to embrace the best of in-person and virtual interactions for connectivity and collaboration enabling new ways of working. Some of the thoughtful designs include hot-desking workstations, collaboration zones, quiet rooms, game areas, lounge rooms, and dedicated spaces for new parents.

Unilever Malaysia is also offering exclusive promotions amongst its portfolio of products – ranging from beauty, personal care, home care and food. Customers can find the latest and best promotions via Unilever Official Store on Shopee, Lazada and Lazada Grocery Store.
