Lovingly known as the King of the Road, the Perodua Myvi is no stranger to road accidents and peculiar traffic incidents. However, recently, the pickup truck Toyota Hilux has been making headlines too.

In a TikTok video shared three days ago by Patty (@patty07_), a Toyota Hilux can be seen “saving” a Perodua Kancil. Patty captioned the video, “Crazy mission – Mission to save Sang Kancil.”

The unusual incident took place in Ulu Baram, a remote area in Sarawak, where a group of men can be seen building a wooden contraption, believed to have been used to “save” the Perodua Kancil.

After the wooden structure was done, they placed it above the Hilux’s cargo bed, so that the Kancil can be perched on it and transported.

According to Patty, it was her dad who had brought the Kancil to Ulu Baram. However, since the car has broken down, Patty and the men are bringing it to town to have it repaired.

She also said that the journey took them all day as they had to drive slowly due to the wooden structure slowly giving way.

Netizens are amazed

In the comments, netizens are amazed and wondered how the Kancil was placed on the Hilux, to which Patty said, “Just carry it”.
