A video posted on a Facebook group captures the proud moment an owner of a brand-new SUV hits the streets of Kuala Lumpur right after picking up his brand-new car from the showroom.

The dashcam footage has since gone viral after the owner was seen getting his new ride rammed into by a sedan car at a Gombak toll booth just shortly after picking up his new car.

The SUV may be declared a total loss

Based on reports by China Press, the aftermath of the accident has left the SUV severely damaged, and it may need to be declared a total loss and scrapped.

In the footage, the incident happened when the SUV driver was slowing down to pass through a toll booth, only to be suddenly struck by a black sedan from the back.

The sedan driver is allegedly just 19 years old

Judging by the footage, it’s clear that the sedan was speeding from a distance before making its way to the toll booth, which resulted in the crash.

The impact sent the SUV careening out of the toll booth at the moment of collision. Not only did the accident crumple the rear end of the SUV, but it also left the front of the sedan crushed.

To make matters worse, the driver of the black sedan is allegedly only 19 years old.

While we can’t confirm if there were any casualties, we can only hope that no one involved was hurt.
