Registering for vaccination is a bona fide hassle to some, especially for those who are not technologically savvy.

But fret not! If you are looking to register your parents who are above 60-years-old, here is what you can do according to netizen @dytiaaurinh.

Taking to Twitter, she writes, “For those whose parents are above 60 and have yet to get their vaccination date, you can do the following:

  • Open your MySejahtera app
  • Click help desk
  • Start
  • Select Option B

“You need to do it on your parent’s MySejahtera app.”

“A mutual friend tried it and have successfully secured a date. I hope this could help those out there looking to secure dates for their parents.”

She also added that should the app doesn’t work, simply click ‘No, it doesn’t work’  and the page will ask you to fill in your MySejahtera ID and IC number.

“Choose chronic illness if you have chronic kidney disease, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, previous stroke, heart failure, etc.”

Many are still testing out the theory, but so far only one in the comments section mentioned that their parent will be contacted within five days of confirmation.

Let’s hope that the people running MySejahtera will work out the bugs and help Malaysians to register for their vaccination. Let’s give it a try shall we?
