Being a bus driver is a respected job, as parents trust them to ensure their children’s safety on the way to and from school. Netizens have been full of praise for an American TikToker who shares wholesome content about his day-to-day life as a bus driver in the United States.
In the video, TikToker @thenoemurillo shares a glimpse of his day, starting at 9 AM and wrapping up by 5 PM, driving kids to and from school on his bus.
“This is how content should be created”
The video shows how, before starting his 9-to-5 job as a bus driver, he carefully checks the tyres and performs an air brake test to ensure everything is in order before hitting the road.
When he arrives at the destination to pick up the kids, he’s fully attentive, and the children acknowledge him with smiles and greetings, to which he responds politely.
After dropping the kids off at their destination, he used his 3-hour break to go kayaking while waiting for them to finish their activities.
Once he sends the kids home, he would do a quick check around the bus, cleaning up any trash left behind before calling it a day.
Netizens are comparing him to Abang Bas
Netizens appreciated how Murillo went the extra mile to blur the kids’ faces in his videos, showing respect for their privacy while documenting his daily routine.
However, a netizen reshared the video on her X account, comparing him to the Malaysian TikToker “Abang Bas,” saying the recent controversy surrounding him falls far short of this level of care and professionalism.
