When we’re in a public space, we need to always be mindful about the other people around us. That’s only common courtesy which everyone should know already.

However, a backpacker garnered much criticism such as ‘disrespectful’ and ‘trash’ when she refused to remove her feet from a headrest. You can already imagine how annoying or frustrating it would be.

Narong Thaopanya, 21, was caught in a situation while he was travelling in a bus from Bangkok to Sukhothai, Thailand. Seated behind him was a woman, presumably French, who couldn’t seem to keep her feet away from the headrest.

Narong, who politely asked the female traveler to keep her foot down, was ignored. She initially took her legs down from the headrest next to Narong. However, after staring at Narong for a few seconds, she proceeded to put her feet back up again, as if he had never asked her to put her feet down.

According to Narong himself,

‘This woman’s face was beautiful but she had no manners. The smell from her feet was filling the whole bus. It was hot and made me feel sick, because her feet were next to my head.

“I asked her many times to put her legs on the ground and she would not do it. She just kept them in the air.”

The man himself expressed disgust as he was concerned that somebody else would have to rest their head on where she had placed her feet. Like seriously tho.

Unfortunately, the female traveller still aired her smelly feet despite being told not to do so by Narong.

Looks like she could really needs to learn some manners here!
