Every season there will be a few anime series that many people will look forward to. Last year (2019), the anime Demon Slayer was so good to the point that it had gained a steady amount of followers.

This man in Taiwan is one of them. He even spent a huge sum of his money just to buy figurines of Nezuko, a popular character in the anime.

According to a post in a Taiwanese group, the Taiwanese man complained about how his girlfriend who was staying with him threw away his Nezuko figurines worth RM14,000.

He said that his girlfriend took advantage of him leaving to his hometown for a couple of days to discard the figurines which he had worked hard and saved up for. When he confronted his girlfriend about it, she just said that they were taking up space and that she collected them all into a garbage bag and threw it away.

He tried calling the garbage collection company to see if he can get a hold of his beloved figurines, however, he has been informed that the garbage collected had already been incinerated.

In addition to that, he also mentioned that his girlfriend didn’t like him watching anime which resulted in him missing out the Demon Slayer: Infinity Train movie which premiered in cinemas worldwide. He said,

“I didn’t care that you watched Korean dramas and swooning after the stars all the time, is it that difficult to just respect each others’ preferences?”

“To think that I actually hid my preferences back then just to get your approval. I was so stupid.”

The man then said that he broke up with his girlfriend and she retaliated badly by saying,

“You otakus love that trash too much and it’s ridiculous.”

The man now intends to sue his ex-girlfriend for compensation.

Yikes, this is definitely not the right thing to do! Throwing away someone’s belongings without asking for their permission is a big no-no. What would you do if you were in the same situation? Let us know.
