It’s hard to believe that someone who is close to these teens would do such a thing to them.

An elderly man was shockingly found dead in a hotel room in Ipoh by an employee at 5.40pm on Tuesday. The deceased had hung himself.

According to The Star, police was called in after the worker made the shocking discovery. However, it was later revealed that the deceased was actually a suspect of a sodomy case.

“As for the sodomy case, we received a report on July 24 from a boy who was accompanied by his two friends aged around 14 to 15. They lodged a report claiming that they were sodomised by their school football team physiotherapist,” said Perak CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Gan Tian Kee.

Apparently the heinous crime had taken place at the suspect’s house and a hotel since May 2016 and continued until May 2017.

The suspect tricked the victim into taking a pill claiming that it would strengthen their bodies.

“After swallowing the pill, the victims became semi-conscious and the suspect would sexually assault their bodies. After doing so, he would take the victims out to buy clothes, pants, shoes and handphones.” Gan said.

Besides, the victims were also forced to perform oral sex on the suspect after consuming the pill, according to Sinchew.

“We are still trying to identify other victims who may have been molested or harassed by the suspect,” he added.

The suspect’s suicide has been classified as sudden death and is pending further investigation. The body has also been sent to Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital for post-mortem.

No doubt this incident has traumatised the victims, let’s hope that they can recover from this ordeal and lead normal lives again.
