Another day and another round of videos showcasing Malaysians flouting SOPs despite the ongoing lockdown, have made its way on social media.

Taking to Facebook, one netizen showed just how much the ongoing lockdown meant for weary Malaysians in Sungai Petani, Kedah – that they no longer follow or adhere to it.

In a video taken from a moving vehicle, people are seen going out in droves, frequenting the local street market to buy goods.

Though most are seen wearing masks, social distancing was not the order of the day as people can be seen crowding several stalls in the area.

Perturbed, netizens commenting on the video expressed their disappointment at the lack of social responsibility portrayed by those caught on camera.

One netizen writes, “If self discipline cannot be practiced, whatever effort that is taken to contain the outbreak is futile.”

Come on people, let’s just keep at it shall we?
