Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) candidates who wear school uniforms will be given priority to pass through roadblocks for their examinations.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the National Deputy Police Chief, Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani, told Utusan Online that the police force has made this internal arrangement for the students to pass through roadblocks essentially to arrive at their respective examination halls.

Roadblock

This will also apply to students who are taking additional subjects for SPM and STPM.

Nevertheless, parents are also urged to prepare earlier on the examination days to ensure the candidates can arrive at their examination halls on time.

As of earlier, the Ministry of Education has confirmed that the standards of SPM 2020 will not be lowered, and it will not be in the open-book format.

SPM will begin tomorrow (22 February 2021) and the STPM examinations will start from 8 March 2021.

All the best to the candidates, stay safe and score well!
