We were shocked yesterday when details of “Sodomy 3” went viral where a man made a sworn statement that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim sodomised him and he even received a payment of RM300 after the incident.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department Deputy Director (Investigation and Legislation), Deputy Commissioner Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said, his party has received a police report on the issue yesterday and further investigations are underway.

Police chief, Inspector General of PoliceTan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador said that the criminal investigation department (CID) has already recorded a statement from a commissioner of oaths who was a witness in the statutory declaration (SD) written by the alleged victim, reported Straits Times.

“This matter is a waste of the police resources, and I am sick of such matters. However, a police report has been lodged, thus an investigation paper has been opened.”

In the statement dated June 29 by the man, he claimed that the incident happened in 2013 at a hotel in Subang.  He submitted an affidavit which stated that he was contacted by the political leader to meet at the hotel before committing the act and upon completion, he was paid RM300.

His affidavit ended with him confirming that his statement was made in sound mind and nothing but the truth.
