Recently, there’s been so much hype about the launching of phase two of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) line, even our beloved Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak has been echoing it on his social media!

“Starting from 4pm on 17 July 2017, the world class transportation system – MRT SBK will be fully operational. Experience yourself the advancement of the MRT this Monday,” PM Najib wrote on his Facebook.

Spanning 51 kilometres including 31 stations, this impressive MRT system is capable of serving 400,000 passengers per day, making travelling easy for those who live between Sungai Buloh and Kajang.

In conjunction with the line’s launch, all passengers get to enjoy free rides from 4pm up till midnight today!

Can’t try it out today? Well, don’t worry because starting from 18 July till 31 August, all passengers get to enjoy 50% discount on their LRT, BRT, Monorail and MRT rides! Woohoo!

Out of the 19 newly opened stations, 7 of them are underground MRT stations and it’s easy to see why people have been talking about them. According to Art Express, each underground station has a different theme and architectural design that resonates with the surrounding areas.

‘Nuff said, let’s check these stations out, guys!
