Breaking up can get pretty nasty if it’s not executed properly, which is why this Singaporean guy, Leo took his time to craft a perfect break-up text to prevent any drama, according to Mothership.

But the funny thing is – Leo wasn’t breaking up with his girlfriend, he was just switching telco, from StarHub to Circles Life.

Shocked

Leo’s heartfelt romantic break-up text has gone viral on social media and netizens couldn’t help but be amused at his creativity. Here’s what he wrote:

“I loved you StarHub, and I’ve loved you for a long time.

“Even when you cheated on me by cancelling the 12GB data plan, I was still with you.

“But recently, I found someone who is very special, someone who doesn’t give me 1000 SMS as compensation for limited data, someone who doesn’t love me for my money, someone who gives me the freedom to see what I wanted to. And I don’t have to live in fear for having to spend 50 to 80 dollars extra after finishing up all my internet quotas.

“My new love has green and blue colours in her eyes. She is Circles Life.

“I hope you understand why I chose to move on. I think one day, you will also find someone special.

“Thank you for all the times we’ve spent together.

“You will always be in my heart as my first ever telco, my little green star. Goodbye”

Now, you would’ve expect StarHub to lose their mind because Leo leftĀ them for a younger telco who just launched in 2016. But the exact opposite happened.

In fact, StarHub took it quite well with no drama whatsoever. Here’s what they replied:

“We have always loved you. All relationships are bound to have their complications.

“You may walk on the moon, but our star will still shine on you.

“Down the road, if you feel that it is time for reconciliation we will be here waiting.”

So guys, if your telco has failed you over and over again, just write a romantic break-up letter to them like this guy, instead of throwing eggs and smashing glasses.Ā Maybe they’ll even give you 1000 sms to retain you, who knows right?

As for this man’s break up story with his telco, all we can do is wish him theĀ best of luck withĀ his new partner!
