Well, this is certainly outrageous! Some of us have to work more than one job just to make ends meet but for this policeman, he got arrested for his side job, which was being a pimp. Yes, for prostitution!

According to NST, a police constable was accused of being a pimp and was promptly arrested on November 21 at a condominium unit in Setia Alam. The 26-year-old, who was attached to the logistics department in the Serdang police headquarters, was suspected to have been working with a Klang prostitution syndicate that got its clients from WhatsApp. That’s terrible!

During the raid, the police also discovered that there were various drugs paraphernalia for syabu in the unit. The police constable’s Indonesian girlfriend, who is believed to be a prostitute, was arrested as well.

Klang Utara district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mazelan Paijan said that the operation, Ops Noda had managed to arrest another three Indonesian women and two Malaysian men at a hotel there to assist with investigations.

These women were caught after the police raided the hotel and inspected three rooms. They are allegedly prostitutes who were waiting for clients while the two men were guarding them.

He said, “About 6.15pm yesterday, a D7 (Secret Societies, Gambling and Vice) team from the Klang Utara district police headquarters, as well as enforcement officers from the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) monitoring and carrying out intelligence surveillance there confirmed that there were indeed prostitution activities at the hotel.”

“Based on information gleaned from WhatsApp, the prostitution syndicate advertised pictures of the women, named Miss Dyan, Miss Aylla, Miss Evi and Suraya.”

Apparently, the syndicate had also been lying to their customers and asking the prostitutes to pose as Malaysian women in order to lure more customers.

The police said that the suspects have been remanded for a week and they will investigate the case under Section 372A of the Penal Code for prostitution.
