The Royal Floria Putrajaya exhibition is so absolutely gorgeous that it has been extended twice now, so that the people can continue to take in the marvelous sights. And it’s free for everyone to visit!

But, of course, Malaysians are going to be Malaysians and once again prove why we cannot have nice things.

Royal Floria Putrajaya took to their Facebook page to inform visitors NOT TO TAKE the plants like they’re allowed to, because they’re not.

They wrote,

“Visitors at Royal Floria Putrajaya are requested not to take flowers from Anjung Floria so that visitors who will come until September 11, 2022, also have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the flowers that are still on display at the Floria exhibition.”

Many have since condemned the theft of the flowers and urged the organisers to no longer make the exhibition complimentary for people to enter.

“Yesterday as I was leaving (the exhibition), I too saw someone taking orchids.”

Floria 1

“Giving them free entry means everything is free (for them to take) it seems.”

Floria 3

“That’s why everything on earth should be paid for, let there be a sense of appreciation.”

Floria 4

Perhaps signboard should be erected at the exhibition, to inform people not to take the flowers but doesn’t it feel like such ethics are common sense and shouldn’t have to be reminded?

Please don’t ruin exhibition for others by taking the plants at Royal Floria Putrajaya.
