Port Dickson Tree Left Hallow After Someone Set It On Fire While Also Littering The Place
We’ve seen Malaysians vandalise public property in all kinds of ways, from damaging street signs to stepping on plants.
But this incident is something we’ve never seen before.
The Negeri Sembilan kini Facebook page recently shared a video taken at a recreational spot in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The video showcases how the location was left littered with plastic cutlery and takeaway packaging. But what makes the situation worse is that, whoever that had dirtied the place had also SET A TREE ON FIRE.
Negeri Sembilan kini wrote,
“People want to have picnics, you want to too. But take a look, leaving behind rubbish is one thing. What did you barbecue the tree for?”
In the video, the plastic trash could be seen spewed across the ground next to a set of a stone table and chairs. Right next to the seating space, a tree could be seen hallowed out and still smoking after the fire had been put out.
The netizen recording the video, who is also the one who had put out the fire, alleges that it took him more than 3 days to extinguish the burning tree.
While the super tall tree is still standing, he also shared his concern that it may fall soon due to the fact that the base of the tree has been completely hallowed out due to the fire.
