Ghost, hitchhikers and women wearing white – these are the things that go through your mind every time you take a drive down a quiet road in the dead of night.

Taking place in Australia, Mitch Kuhne shares the story of narrowly missing a kid while in his truck – only to find out that the kid did not exist.

“In the video you’ll see what we saw on our way home from racing. There seems to be a child on the middle of the highway!”

Having called the police, Mitch writes, “We couldn’t stop as we had a huge toy hauler we were carrying and would have caused an accident.”

“The police patrolled the area immediately, and we tried to help with the footage we caught.”

So far, police have confirmed that they did not find a child on the highway and that investigations are still underway.

Have we just been served a rare paranormal sighting? Or is the ‘child’ caught on tape a silhouette of a wild animal crossing the roads of NSW? Share with us your thoughts in the comments section below.
