After all the instances where ambulances were treated as secondary to VIP escorts and convoys, Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ), HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim along with a PDRM officer, Corporal Saiful, are showing everyone how it’s done.

In a video showcased by the Friends of PDRM Facebook page, Corporal Saiful, who was working TMJ’s convoy in Johor was seen breaking off from the group to help escort an ambulance past the convoy so that it could move forward.

They wrote, “Corporal Saiful gave way to an ambulance while escorting TMJ.”

Malaysians have since praised both Corporal Saiful and TMJ, for being exemplary.

Tmj 4

“Salute! TMJ too would surely be proud to see Corporal Saiful acting in such a way. The best!”

Tmj 5

“Now this is the right action. Prioritise what’s supposed to be.”

Tmj 6

“That’s the way, salute to Corporal Saiful. The right action according to the situation. Daulat Tuanku.”

Tmj 7

“This is the kind of example that we want.”

We genuinely hope this will serve as a prime example of how convoys should react to ambulances.
