Pavilion Bukit Jalil Encourages Charitability in Community Through Numerous CSR Activations

Pavilion Bukit Jalil recently hosted a fun-filled day of family-friendly activities for its Pavilion Junior members as well as the surrounding B40 community as it commemorates its 2 CSR activations for its Christmas and Chinese New Year festive campaigns.

Community campaigns have always been at the heart of Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s festive celebrations. In conjunction with the mall’s first Disney-themed festive holiday celebration ‘From Our Family To Yours’ which took place from 19 November – 26 December 2022, the mall demonstrated its corporate social responsibility with a festive Plush Toy Charity Drive -where shoppers were invited to give back to the community in need by adopting any of 6 Disney plush toys displayed on the Make-A-Wish shopDisney Holiday Tree for only RM100 per plush toy. All proceeds were donated to Make-A-Wish Malaysia.

Present to receive the mock cheque amounting to RM50,000.00 was Ms. Irene Tan, CEO of Make-A-Wish Malaysia, who also officiated the mall’s ‘From Our Family To Yours’ Holiday campaign. That followed with a special ice-skating fun day out treat for over 100 Pavilion Junior members to enjoy at Blue Ice Snow Park, Level 5.

Pavilion Bukit Jalil x MILO Charity At Heart encourages shoppers to share the festive Joy of reunions with surrounding communities in need by donating the new MILO HI-FIBRE packet at RM8. 10,000 MILO HI-FIBRE packets have been pledged by Pavilion Bukit Jalil as part of the mall’s exciting Looney Tunes ‘Joyful Reunion’ Chinese New Year campaign from 1 January – 6 February 2023.

To add to the festivities, members of the B40 community surrounding Bukit Jalil were invited to celebrate Pavilion Bukit Jalil x MILO Charity at Heart activation alongside MILO as well as Datuk Rashid Sidek, National Badminton Legend and MILO HI-FIBRE ambassador.

The auspicious activation was followed with Milo Trucks sampling, fun activities and badminton workshops with none other than Malaysian Badminton Legend himself Datuk Rashid Sidek and former national badminton player Coach Daphne Ng at PIAZZA, Level 3.
