Passenger Flying AirAsia Solo on V-Day Receives Paper Rose and Chocolate Cake From Cabin Crew

Sometimes, doing girlboss things like going on a holiday alone and taking a flight alone can be scary and lonely. So, it’s always a nice surprise when someone goes out of their way to do something nice for us.

On Valentine’s Day, Marian, a Filipina expat based in Kuala Lumpur (KL), was flying solo on an AirAsia flight when one of the cabin crew members gave her a present!

In a video shared on Marian’s TikTok account, the flight attendant can be seen giving Marian a tissue paper rose and a Santan Black & Pink Roll Cake.

“I’m blushing. He’s so sweet,” Marian wrote in the video.

Netizens are amused

Although the gesture from the flight attendant was sweet, netizens in the comments couldn’t help but notice another passenger seated across the aisle.

They joked about how he’s probably jealous of Marian because he didn’t get any gifts even though he was also traveling alone.

Having lunch together

In another video posted later, Marian shows how she invited the flight attendant to have lunch with her.

“I pretended to be a food vlogger from the Philippines. He didn’t know that we work in the same company,” said Marian, amused.
