The Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill opened its doors a few weeks ago. Customers who reserved their seats since last year finally have the opportunity to taste the gourmet dishes that the place promises and recently, local actress Nora Danish, had the luxury of visiting the fancy restaurant in Sunway Resort.

As shown on her latest Instagram post, her family had ordered the signature Beef Wellington, Steak Tartare, oysters and a few more dishes to satisfy their cravings.

However, some Malaysians have since criticised Nora for visiting the place.

‘Pork-free does not mean it’s Halal’

Some users have spent some time in the comment sections of the post wondering if Nora has taken into account the issues of the status of Halal food at the restaurant. Since some of the food at the renowned bar & grill contains alcohol, the Halal certification is clearly out of the question.

As a result, online users criticised Nora for choosing to eat at a restaurant where the status of the Halal certification is unclear and warned her not to take food consumption lightly.

In case you’re wondering about the Halal status of the meat products, a netizen has since commented and said that she had inquired about the Halal status of the meat products. This was their response:

As shown in the image above, pork is not included in the menu and all meat items are sourced from halal-certified suppliers.

Have you had the opportunity to dine in at The Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill? Fellow Muslim customers, will you be giving this place a try?
