Work smart, not work hard. A man in India had to make do with what he had to help his 15-year-old son who injured his leg.

In a video shared on an X account, the man is seen riding his scooter into the elevator at a hospital in Kota, Rajasthan. No, this is not a scene from a Bollywood movie but the man was merely “working smart” to bring his son to the doctor, who was located on the 3rd flood.

His scooter came in handy when the hospital had no wheelchair as an alternate way to “carry” the injured teen to the 3rd floor.

The man rode his scooter to the elevator, pressed the button, and slowly moved his vehicle into the elevator. Did the father and son just duplicate a scene from the famous 2009 Bollywood comedy, 3 Idiots?

According to Hindustan Times, the father, Jain initially asked for a wheelchair for his son who fractured his leg. Unfortunately, the hospital couldn’t supply the father and son with a wheelchair. Instead of getting upset and angry, Jain seized the opportunity and made do with what he had – his scooter.

Minor misunderstanding

Before you think you can duplicate the same thing here in Malaysian hospitals, don’t get the idea that Jain was allowed by the hospital to do so.

He thought he could ride his scooter into the building, but the guard only allowed him to bring his vehicle to the gate.

“I asked them if I could take my son into the building with my scooter when they said they had no wheelchairs. They allowed me to do so but later they took my scooter key,” Jain explained.

Regardless, we hope that Jain’s son got his problem sorted and is in the process of recovery! And don’t even think about doing such a stunt in the hospitals here.
