Many people in our community look for ways to give back and appreciate those around us, especially in times of rising food prices and daily expenses.

Taking to TikTok, this netizen did just that when he took it upon himself to give back to the community by giving food to Alam Flora workers in his area.

In the video, he could be heard saying, “This is some food, share it with your friends.”

“I wanted to give them food, because, once I saw a man do the same thing. So I wanted to do the same.”

He then located a few other workers and fed them, but after finding out the food was insufficient, he bought more.

He explained, “I did it not because I want to show off. I was inspired. Back then they use to ask people for water, I wanted to give more than that, so that it will motivate others to do the same.”

Netizens in the comments section were impressed with the man’s sense of philanthropy.

“Once a worker asked me if he could get some tap water to drink. I didn’t have the heart so I gave him mineral water instead.”

Bagus bro. I always buy workers like this food. Imagine working under the sun and doing all the cleaning,” commented a user.

Let’s hope that this will inspire more to do the same.
