A crash involving a Honda Jazz driver in Melaka went viral online

The accident caused the Honda Jazz driver to crash into a Honda Civic travelling from Jonker Walk towards Jalan Tun Ali.

The Honda Civic driven by the 26-year-old man suffered damage to the rear, including a broken bumper, dented bonnet and a flat rear tyre. The Honda Jazz, on the other hand, suffered damage to the front bumper.

The Honda Jazz driver actually suffered a seizure

Melaka Tengah District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Cristopher Patit, said that in the incident that took place around 1:50 PM on Sunday, the Honda Jazz driver was not arrested. He further revealed that the 24-year-old driver suffered a seizure during the incident.

He was taken to the Melaka Hospital for treatment.

“No arrests have been made. The driver, who works as a mechanic, was reported to have suffered a seizure.”

“We are still waiting for the driver to file a police report. There is no CCTV footage of the area,” Christopher said in his statement.
