In the TikTok video that has gone viral, Ika booked an Airbnb stay in Batu Ferringhi, Penang during Christmas to spend time with her family.

However, they received a surprise visit at night by the police.

“We heard the doorbell ring at 12am and thought that it was Santa Claus, but it turns out that it was the police.”

A group of policemen with some MOH officers who were on patrol came into the homestay and started checking everything.

Ika has said that there was only 1 Mysejahtera check-in point that was at the first gate. They did not notice the QR code there as they had gone in through the side door.

With this, Ika hopes to remind everyone to check in on Mysejahtera when going to homestays or Airbnbs!

It is still the holiday season, so, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Check-in on MySejahtera everywhere you go!
