In a recent video shared by @benjim999, he and his wife were seen driving along the roads of Kelantan when they encountered a pak cik driving dangerously in front of them, seemingly unable to stay in his lane.

They tried stopping the pak cik by honking repeatedly

In the video, Benjim can be heard honking at the pak cik, who was driving ahead and drifting out of his lane, in an attempt to get him to stop.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, he revealed that the pak cik eventually stopped his car.

The pak cik was experiencing a hypo attack

Benjim explained that the pak cik’s daughter, who is just 17 years old, was in the car with him.

She explained that her dad was actually experiencing a hypoglycemic episode but she could not take over because she didn’t know how to drive or have a driver’s license.

A hypoglycemic attack or hypoglycemia occurs when your blood sugar (glucose) level falls too low for bodily functions to continue.

Despite Benjim’s honking, the pak cik was already in a state where he couldn’t hear anything, not even his daughter, who was also trying to get him to stop.

After hearing the story, Benjim decided to drive the pak cik’s car to his house while Benjim’s wife followed them from behind.

Benjim left a piece of advice for all Malaysians with the same condition as the pak cik, mentioning,

“Always carry sweets with you wherever you go (based on comments from netizens with experience) because a hypo attack can happen at any time.”
