Former prime minister Najib Razak being in Kajang jail is something that all Malaysians know.

So, during the election period and even now, his social media accounts such as his Twitter account and his Facebook page, are still active.

Heck, he even posted a meme on Twitter before our 10th prime minister, Anwar Ibrahim, was sworn in.

Najib’s most recent Twitter thread is basically him throwing shade at Muhyiddin Yassin for trying to “buy” BN members to support the PN coalition.

“Before BN & UMNO had their meeting, he already started buying SDs from the members & even lied to GPS that BN is supporting them when BN has never met PN or GPS.”

He concluded that this was the reason for joining a unity government that doesn’t have PN in it.

Even though all of this is juicy political BTS shenanigans, many netizens all had the same question in their head: “why are you still tweeting?”

What ensues is a series of amusing comments from netizens.

“You can tweet in jail? You even wrote a long thread lol.”

“Is today an outing day for you that’s why you can use your phone?”

“He logged into his account by using the prison guard’s phone.”

“Please chill Dato Seri. Afterwards, you kena kantoi with the guard for smuggling your phone into prison.”

Najib Twitter 4

“Did you smuggle your phone in like this?”

Najib Twitter 6

“Can someone call the Kajang prison warden? Tell the warden to take Najib’s handphone and tell him that he can’t use phones in jail. Please help to call, thanks.”

Najib Twitter 7

“Are you on lunch break?”

“Lunch break is ok, just not prison break.”

While some realised that the one using Najib’s account may not be the person himself, but rather a social media handler/admin.

Najib Twitter 5

“Najib’s admin is so extra that Mydin’s admin can’t even compare.”

We’re cackling after reading some of these tweets and we hope that all of them actually came from an admin and not from Kajang.
