Putrajaya is set to commence the trial run of its trackless tram service during the Putrajaya Open Day.

According to a Facebook post from Perbadanan Putrajaya, the trial run of the autonomous rapid transit (ART), a smart tram without tracks, is scheduled to run until December.

During the trial period, the public is invited to experience the tram service at no cost. The Putrajaya Open Day is set to take place from February 1st to 4th.

The local authority urged residents in and around Putrajaya, as well as the general public, not to pass up the chance to experience the ART.

Online netizens filled the comment section, sharing their excitement and thoughts about the trackless tram.

“This is what Putrajaya residents have been waiting for. Hopefully, additional routes will be introduced to reduce reliance on vehicles.”

“This is so cool. Now I feel like moving to Putrajaya.”

“Big shout-out to Perbadanan Putrajaya for this initiative. Numerous tourists have expressed challenges in navigating from one place to another in Putrajaya. Here’s hoping this makes a positive difference.”
