What began as a heartbreaking day at SplashMania WaterPark in Selangor ended with an inspiring reminder that kindness and honesty still exist.

A woman thought she had lost her smartphone for good after it accidentally slipped into the river at the water park. She searched repeatedly and even asked people nearby for help, but despite her efforts, the device was nowhere to be found.

A clever solution using Siri

Disappointed and convinced the phone was gone forever, she returned to her car in tears. However, later that afternoon, something unexpected happened.

Her husband received a phone call, and the caller ID displayed her own number.

A group of honest youngsters had found the phone and decided to do everything they could to return it. Since the device was locked, one of them came up with a clever solution. They activated Siri and said, “Hi Siri, please call Abiyy.”

“Abiyy” was the husband’s name saved in the woman’s contacts. The voice assistant successfully placed the call, allowing them to connect with the woman’s husband and arrange the phone’s return.

To make the reunion even more memorable, the youngsters left a cheerful selfie in the phone’s gallery, intending it as a lighthearted keepsake that turned an emotional experience into one filled with gratitude and smiles.

One of the youths later shared a humble comment on the social media post, explaining what motivated their actions:

“You’re welcome, Kak. May you and your husband be blessed with abundant sustenance. Our mother has always reminded us never to take what belongs to someone else.

“So, all of us looked for a way to return the phone. Alhamdulillah, one of our friends had the smart idea of using Siri. Everyone was so happy after we managed to help someone.”

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, the woman, Shu, praised the youths for their brilliant idea of using Siri to connect with her husband in an attempt to return the phone.

The heartfelt message resonated with many online, as social media users praised not only the group’s honesty but also the strong values their parents had instilled in them.
