Unfortunately, the issue of double parking happens everywhere, including in residential areas.
In a viral TikTok post by @farezadnanofficial, Farez showed the daily struggle and inconvenience he has to deal with almost every morning when he leaves for work.
There’s an entire row of double-parked cars blocking the vehicles that are parked in proper parking spots
“You want to live in a flat, right? Are you ready to face this issue every day?” Farez asked rhetorically.
Farez had an idea in mind but it was ultimately rendered moot – he planned to push the car away but to no avail. Not only was there not enough space but some cars also had their handbrakes pulled up, making it impossible for anyone to move the car.
What about honking?
Farez decided to give it another 15 minutes before honking because it was too early to wake up the entire neighbourhood to alert the double parkers. According to him, this was just the tip of the iceberg.
“You haven’t seen those who reserve the parking spots with motorcycles or chairs. If I call them the B40 mindset, they wouldn’t like it,” Farez added.
In a conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Farez said that he is staying at a flat in Ampang Jaya, Selangor. So, did Farez manage to go to work in the morning?
“Fortunately, I managed to go to work after spending 15 minutes pushing some cars away! I couldn’t push the cars immediately because the entire row was filled with the double-parked cars. There was no space for me.”
Farez said that he had to wait until someone moved his vehicle away, so he had the space to move the other blocking cars to make way for his car to exit.
The man also told WORLD OF BUZZ that complaints about the matter were made but nothing has been done.
