As Malaysia is a melting pot of many different races and religions, it is always important to be tolerant and understanding of one another as to not cause any conflict.

Just recently, Sin Chew Daily reported that a Malaysian man allegedly broke into a mosque in Ampang while the Muslims were having their morning prayers, and snatched the mic from the speaker.

After snatching the mic, he proceeded to say that they’re disturbing his ‘peace’ and told them to keep it down. Many people in the mosque then asked him to kindly leave.

The police said that they have also found that he has had 2 reports made against him for criminal intimidation and a drug offence.

The man is being detained for 4 days to assist in any further investigations and will be charged under the Penal Code Section 298A for causing disharmony on grounds of religion.
