Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but it’s not all roses and sunshine for every couple in Malaysia. While many were busy purchasing flowers and chocolates, one woman chose to send an anonymous message sharing her perspective on love.
User @twtsecretsmy recently posted an anonymous tip from a wife who opened up about the problems happening between her and her husband.

As the story goes, the wife mentioned that she and her husband tied the knot at the end of 2022 and were happy at first.
She even said that before they met, her husband was quite the ladies’ man but changed his ways after meeting her, hoping to settle down.
The woman added,
“I was glad and happy to know that he wanted to change his ways because I never forced him to do so, nor did I pressure him into marrying me.”
She went on to say that marriage isn’t always easy, as her husband finally confronted her, expressing that he feels like he hasn’t finished enjoying his single life.
To make matters worse, he even told her that he regretted marrying her in the first place and he wasn’t ready to settle down at the time.
The woman expressed her disbelief when her husband told her that he still wanted to socialise and meet other people. She even questioned herself, wondering what she was lacking that made him feel this way.
“I treated him like a king, took care of everything from meals to clothes. We’ve been married for over a year, so why did he change?”
The woman continued by saying that her husband suggested they take a break from their relationship for a few months so he could figure out what he really wants.
She also expressed how she’s not ready to live without him, as she’s become accustomed to depending on him for many things over a long time, and it would be quite an adjustment for her if he were to leave.
Netizens were quick to flood the comment section to share their perspective on the situation.
“Hey anonymous, from what my experience, your husband might be seeing someone else. Saying he’s not ready to settle down is just an excuse. He’s pretending to be considerate by suggesting space, but he might end up leaving you. Stay strong!”
“Just let him go. There’s nothing you, as a woman, can offer to men like him. Not even sexual intimacy would make him stay.”
